We've documented 13 accessibility features for Pinball Blitz, including Fully Voiced (Or No Speech), No Holds, Play Without Hearing, Colour Blind Friendly and Fully Subtitled (Or No Speech). Pinball Blitz is a traversal game where you score points by defeating enemies you create yourself. You score pinball points by flipping your ball to defeat enemies, earning upgrades and building up to defeat bosses. It's unusual because you control the flow of enemies, and must balance point-scoring with survivability, maximising the chance for success while keeping it possible.

NotesAccessibility Notes

As the game is not released, the developer is still working on accessibility features. The report represents those features that they have a plan to implement and are confident of including but is subject to change.

Holding down buttons isn't needed. Sometimes, depending on your situation, rapid presses and using both paddles at the same time (a simultaneous button press) may be needed. Good reactions are essential. While there is no time limit per se, you lose health if you don't defeat enemies before they reach the bottom of the screen, so there is pressure throughout the game.

Text is all high in contrast but not always large. The pinballs are quite small and can be low in contrast to the table. The background has a moving pattern which could be distracting, and the pinball table itself has lots of flashing lights on it.

As the table is fully in view at all times, navigation is not needed in the game.

You can navigate the settings using keyboard inputs and most menus, but selecting the upgrade you want must be done with a mouse.

Not every visual has an accompanying sound effect.
