Temtem Swarm is a shooting survival game where you play a Temtem creature trying to survive ever more powerful swarms of enemies. You avoid incoming attacks and hit back with automatic and targeted attacks. It may sound like a straightforward survival game, but the ability to evolve your Temtem mid-run and gain powerful permanent boosts means there's considerably more depth to it.

Our accessibility examiner, Ben Kendall, first checked Temtem Swarm accessibility 5 weeks ago.

NotesAccessibility Notes

You need fast and precise reactions to avoid incoming attacks and use your manual attacks to hit back.

All text is high in contrast, but some is far less than 1/20th of screen height. There is no speech in the game.

When there are lots of enemies and attacks on the screen at once it can be very chaotic and difficult to make out what's going on. This is compounded by flashes and other visual effects. The contrast, while generally good, can also be low during particularly chaotic moments as everything blends into one large group of attacks and enemies.

Your objective is always clear (survive), and navigation does not present an issue as there is no set destination, and you instead wander around in search of/away from enemies.
