Play Overview
A mysterious alien race arrived on Earth: the Occupants. They are not hostile but brought with them a disease that wiped out most of humanity apart from one teenage girl who was immune and immortal. The game is set 1000 years later in a society she formed, consisting exclusively of her own clones. She calls them Sisters. They call her the Allmother.
You play one of these closes, a Watcher, who must relive and interpret Iris's memories of life on earth. As you explore these fully voiced scenes, you realise Iris is not what she claims to be. In this way, you jump back and forth through moments in time within these memories to solve puzzles, access locked-off areas and uncover the truth of the situation.
The result is a game that sounds complex but hits hardest with the simple idea of visiting our world with no knowledge of how it works. This starts with questions like What is a name? and What is a phone? but spirals into a story about time, memory, technology and trauma.
