Play OverviewPlay Overview

Aviassembly (2025) is a creative simulation game where you build planes from constituent parts in the hope of making something that flies. You make deliveries with your aircraft to accrue parts to refine your creation, be it a hyper-realistic jet or an extravagant behemoth. It stands out for requiring attention to physics and practicalities of real aeronautics, while not obstructing imaginative design with unexpected (and often comedic) results.

Play involves using different components, like pieces of fuselage, engines and wings, to construct an aeroplane which you then fly between airports, ferrying cargo in exchange for new parts. You start off with only the most basic parts, like propellers and biplane wings, and slowly unlock more advanced components like jet engines and proper cockpits.

While constructing your plane, you must consider the drag, centre of gravity, weight, fuel consumption, and more. While this limits your options at first, as you unlock more components, you're able to get ever more creative with your designs. Provided it flies, you can make anything you can think of. And if you crash, you simply go back to the design screen and iterate until you solve the problem.

The result is a game that enables you to experiment with weird and wonderful aircraft designs until you find something that works. Whether you build a jet, a rocket ship, or something never before seen, learning to master the physics and mechanics to enable your creations is both a novel challenge and surprisingly good fun.
