Play Overview
Checkout: Cashier Simulator (2025) is a puzzle game where you work as a checkout person, speedily processing people's produce into bags. Play involves scanning and organising the hundreds of unique products into bags so they are grouped logically to score maximum points.
You start work at Coopers Supermarket as a cashier. You scan and process each customer's items into the bagging grid. The faster, more accurate, and organised you are, the more points you earn. The trick is to group items from the same department to get bonus points. But with over 20 departments and 300 products, you need to think carefully and spot visual clues to match them perfectly.
As you progress, you learn to get faster at bagging and taking cash, cheques, or card payments. The more customers you process, the more points you earn. Then, between shifts, you can unwind and get to know the quirky coworkers over the course of many shifts.
The result is a game with a neat food packing puzzle at its heart. The joy of this task and the sheer number of items to deal with make it a surprisingly substantial experience.
