Chronicles: Medieval is a battle simulation game where you follow your destiny in a brutal medieval Europe. Play involves fighting and commanding your army in huge battles against opposing forces, completing missions for the people you meet in towns and villages, and constructing your empire.
In combat, you issue strategic commands to your historical troop battalions while also fighting opponents directly using swords, bows and arrows, and other weapons. As you win more battles, you grow in strength and reputation and can recruit more troops to your cause. Off the battlefield, you explore the world, talking to characters, trading for valuables, and completing missions that advance your ends. You construct and defend your own castles and settlements, fending off your political rivals to reach the top.
The result is a game where you're free to forge your own path through a world that doesn't shy away from the brutality of medieval existence.
