Play Overview
You play a detective during the heyday of New Hollywood in the 1970s, and find yourself investigating a string of deaths of famous actors, writers, and producers. Play involves clicking on and reading the description of different items at each scene, then clicking on the underlined words to add them to your list. You then use these words in your notebook to fill out the blanks in each sentence, piecing together what happened.
As you progress from scene to scene, you discover connections that link the deaths together to reveal a mysterious conspiracy. The scenes themselves also get more complex, with more clues and sentences to complete. If you make a mistake, you can simply look at the clue again and change the words you've used, without having to start again or lose any progress.
The result is a game that's simple to play by design, offering an interactive detective story that reveals a shadowy underbelly at the heart of Hollywood. Learning the details of each new scene is good fun, and discovering the threads that connect each crime makes for a deeply engaging narrative.

9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. The game doesn't have time limits or any sections where precise or rapid inputs are needed. If you forget a clue, you can always re-examine the scene to refresh your memory. A good reading level is needed, and critical thinking is also valuable.
