Play Overview
Crescent County is a racing and traversal game where you play a witchy courier with a superfast motorbroom. You deliver packages, herd sheep and fix ley lines while helping the locals sort their drama-filled lives out. It stands out not only for the unusual take on delivery play, but for its world full of life, love and punk motorbroom subculture.
You are Lu, a young adult still figuring themselves out. To help you on your way, you meet all sorts of people to argue, flirt, date, and work for. You play in an open world brimming with witch-tech. Your broom is more like a hoverbike as you drift and drive your way to make deliveries.
As you gain funds, you can customise your ride to make it even faster and more responsive - and to have a better chance at beating your friends (and crushes) in races. The better your broom is, the more jobs you can do, and the more gossip you can uncover. You also get to move into a flat, collect furniture and (hopefully) build a cosy new life for yourself.
The result is a game that's as much about growing up and building a life for yourself as maximising your delivery business. There's a lot to do here, but most impressive is how it coalesces into a coherent whole.
