Electrogical is a mathematical jigsaw puzzle about connecting electrical circuits. To play you place the limited pieces so they not only match like puzzles but also complete algorithms to make the required numeric result.
It's a game that combines jigsaw puzzles with mathematics. Each piece has nodules and holes that must match like a classic puzzle. They also have mathematical operations on them, such as adding or subtracting by 1. Your goal is to arrange the pieces to create an equation matching each stage's target number.
As you progress you learn there are often multiple ways to solve each level. You can refine each attempt to maximise piece placement, number manipulation and number selection to get the highest score in each stage. Different-shaped puzzle pieces, warps, rotations and more complex operations are added as you go.
The result is a game about manipulating numbers with different operations. Because of the piece placement fun, it offers a game that is more complex (and more enjoyable) than just learning how to complete equations correctly. Add to this the ability to perfect your score on each level and it's a great game with collateral mathematics outcomes.
