Play Overview
You play the former Queen of the Fae, exiled from her kingdom for her extreme plan to take down the extortionate Bureau of Business by playing them at their own capitalist game. Under the alias Madama Biz, you must climb the ladder from a small-town shop owner to a business lord by gathering and selling stock to the customers you recruit.
Unlike classic dungeon adventures, play is all focused on business skills. There are many different items you can sell, from fruits that you must grow and harvest to hats you obtain through a deal with a supervillain. Some items are locked away in chests that can only be opened once you have found enough hidden collectable apples.
As you progress, you learn spells and complete puzzles that open up new pathways, enabling you to find more items to sell and people to partner with. Using your profits you can purchase upgrades that increase your income, for example by increasing the frequency of customer visits. Eventually, you relocate to the big city and take on the Bureau directly in fierce competition. The game offers different story choices for you to make, which can affect your tax payments, passive income, customer interest and more.
The resulting game is a unique yet seamless blend of shopkeeping, item management and role-play exploration. The story is humorous and sees you defeat capitalism by becoming the best at it.
