Jump Ship is a cooperative shooting game where you pilot a spaceship on different adventures. Play involves working in a squad to explore locations, kill enemies to acquire resources that can be used to upgrade and maintain your ship. It stands out for the fluid transition between ship management, piloting and first-person exploration roles.
Your main aim is to collect loot to customise and upgrade you and your ship. To do this, you set out on expeditions that take you across a multitude of maps and complete a random objective. Play involves switching between piloting the ship, conducting spacewalks, and exploring on foot. You not only take on combat but must manage the minutiae of space travel - repairing systems, scavenging parts and crafting equipment.
