Play Overview
You play as Kulebra, who awakens in Limbo with the task of freeing the regretful souls from their endless reenactment of the same day. You explore the world and talk to each of the trapped inhabitants to learn what they need to be free. This might be a mother and daughter who need to find the trust to face painful memories by nurturing a special flower together. Or then there's a child obsessed with a pop star who needs to connect fandom to reality. The twist is that after one day, the world resets, including all the characters, so it's down to you to join the dots as you journey through multiple loops.
As you progress, you learn how to help each character process their regret to finally be able to move on and break the cycle. Each one is different and needs different help and support to progress. Most interactions are peaceful or observational, but occasional stealth and puzzle sections are what is required.
The result is a hand-crafted adventure with an unusual loop of character engagement. The papercraft aesthetic and culturally anchored atmosphere combine with themes of grief, healing, and memory to make it stand out from the crowd.
