Panoramical

Panoramical (2015) is a creative adventure through rhythm and space, where you manipulate worlds to change their look, sound and feel. You move through diverse, abstract landscapes, altering various aspects of the terrain to affect intricate layers of music, from thumping bass to retro synths. There are fifteen worlds to delve into, ranging from deserts, mountains and cities to pure psychedelia. Each one has a different sound - upbeat, lofi, jazz, orchestral - but their specifics are down to you to dictate. Like a conductor, you adjust eighteen sliders that precisely control constituent musical elements down to the tempo of a single snare beat. Not only this, but each slider also affects the landscape, turning towering mountains into carved valleys or day into night. In this way, you have total freedom to shape the world around you, perhaps venting frustration with jagged peaks and crashing drums, alternatively meditating in underwater calm.

The result is a tranquil, exploratory journey through sound and landscape. It's simple but addictive, as you tweak every aspect of the world to perfect your vision and tell your story.
