Play Overview
Soul Link (2024) is a Tetris-style puzzle where rather than slotting pieces together to make lines you use them to build bridges affected by real-world physics. Play involves rotating and moving each piece to connect it to the existing blocky landscape.
Your challenge is reconnecting a broken land with Soul Bridges to make it whole again. These bridges are created one Tetris-shaped piece at a time. Not only that but they must be carefully and strategically placed using woodworking theory like tenon and mortise structures. The resulting structures need to stand up to the storms that come and go through the level.
As you progress you learn how to slot pieces into each other, bump other pieces into place and even use special qualities to bond and weld them together. As you do this you face increasing challenges like seesaws, floating platforms, storms, lightning and zero gravity.
The result is a puzzle game that requires a different kind of thinking. Not only do you need to mechanically combine the right pieces, but also think ahead for how your construction opens up or closes down opportunities to continue building further down the road.
