Play Overview
You play a private investigator called to the Gothic Blake Manor to find the missing Evelyn Deane. You explore the richly dressed rooms as guests' movements and actions unfold around you in a clockwork mystery. To decipher what happened, you not only need to collect clues and complete sentences but also to understand these intertwining movements. This enables you to gain access to new people and places to compile theories that explain who did what, when, and why.
As you progress, each of your actions advances the in-game clock. Will you pursue long conversations, pry open cupboards, or stake out locations? Slowly, you create a pinboard of colour-coded evidence to cross-reference alibis and threads. Along the way, apparitions and folkloric artefacts complicate otherwise logical chains, nudging you to weigh superstition against hard evidence.
The result is a detective game that's as much about embracing the rich interlocking stories as it is finding the right words for the right sentences. It's a weekend mystery where every verb you learn and every hour you spend brings you closer to uncovering the buried truth of the night.

Skill Level
10+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. The actual piecing together of sentences to solve clues is simpler than other deduction games like Obra Dinn. Here, the skill is spending your time wisely and embracing the tangled stories of each character until they slot into place. Patience and the ability to deal with multiple plot threads is important to enjoy this game.
