Play OverviewPlay Overview

Chained Together (2024) is a cooperative running and jumping game where you must coordinate your actions with your friends because you are literally chained together with three of them. You cross chasms and avoid fast-moving obstacles, but because of your chains must work together to ensure you don't fall. It's this aspect of mutual cooperation, leading to both great success and hilarious tragedy, that makes the game stand out.

You play would-be escapees from hell and must overcome the immense platforming challenge before you to reclaim your souls. With up to three other players, you move through the stages while shackled to one another. You must coordinate your jumps and movements between you, and the chain connecting you means that if one person falls they can potentially be saved by the other players.

Each section is extremely difficult and contains lots of jumps which, if failed, lead back to the start, as well as moving obstacles and narrow walkways which require excellent teamwork and communication to overcome. While succeeding at a section is undoubtedly rewarding, equally fun is when everything goes wrong and you fail spectacularly; it's a game that's as much about goofing around with friends as it is about the climb.

The result is a game where working together is both the fun and the challenge. Whether you work seamlessly and make it out of Hell with no mistakes or spend all your time falling to the start, it makes for an entertaining way to spend time with friends.
