Fudgy Dice is a tactical battle game where your dice are your weapons. Play involves throwing your dice in turn aiming to beat your opponent's dice and score damage at the end of each round. It stands out for your ability to knock into other dice each throw to change their numbers and trigger special abilities.
Each battle is a number of rounds until your opponent (or you) is out of energy. You deplete their health by developing the board of dice one throw at a time. Your aim is to land dice with higher numbers than your opponent's. However, by hitting the other dice on the board you can change their values to your advantage.
As you progress the dice gain more powers and open different strategies. Some can freeze, copy, or even destroy your opponent's dice. However, you need to think ahead about how they may be countered by your opponent's next throw. Between battles, you explore the world to take on new opponents and collect more dice. In this way, you upgrade your dice, collect relics that further enhance your throws, and progress through each of the seven character's stories.
The result is a tactile mathematical challenge where knowing the odds of attacking or defending with your dice is the key to victory.
