Play OverviewPlay Overview

Hacky Zack (2017) is a running and jumping game where you also have to hit a ball through the level to win. Because the game simulates real physics this can be quite a challenge. It's an unusual game that requires planning as well as careful execution.

The 100 levels start quite easy but soon ramp up the challenge. There are stickers to collect along the way to unlock optional time-trial challenge levels as well as extra playable characters. You can play modes where you are collecting all the coins with the ball, or getting the ball to the exit. Different balls have different qualities that can help you progress, like extra-bounced and slow motion.

It's a game where you need to embrace the frustration. But when you master the mechanics and complete a level it's very satisfying.

Our examiner, Jo Robertson, first checked Hacky Zack 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Ellen Robertson and updated 3 months ago.
