Play OverviewPlay Overview

Kill The Music is a fighting game where you play a musician who can only attack on the beat of the music. Play involves charging around the fantasy world hitting buttons to up your auto-attacks and boost your damage.

Roxie's band is trapped in an eternal loop, forced to play music for Death. She lets them possess her body to gain different instrument-based powers - lead guitar, drums and bass attacks in an effort to win their freedom.

In this way, you take on waves of enemies as the different instruments automatically defend you. Press buttons in time with the rock music and you boost your attacks. Save up enough energy in your Solo Meter and you can pull off a cascading solo to mow down hordes of enemies.

As you progress through a series of runs you steadily become stronger, unlocking more abilities to start the next round. On a run, you can choose upgrades and discover the best creative synergies between your instruments.
