Webfishing (2024) is an online fishing simulation with a focus on chatting while you catch all sorts of fish. Play involves exploring the world to find friends and fishing equipment and talking to other players while you fish. It stands out for the laid-back vibe, and how you can spend hundreds of hours working on getting the highest quality fish.

It's a multiplayer online casual fishing game where you relax, hang out, make friends, and catch fish. There are over 100 different creatures to catch (snails, sharks and lots more) and many are only around under certain weather conditions. However, the real focus is on the novel way to hang out with your friends.

As you progress you work to complete your journal, find rare fish, earn money and unlock special rewards. You slowly get more skilful and are granted more abilities that let you place your camp and access to your private island. In this way, you upgrade your gear with new bait, lures, and rods. There are also lots of different outfits and accessories you can put on to customise how you look.

The result is a light-hearted fishing game designed around hanging out with friends and strangers in the camp. It's a fun way to meet new people, work through the fishing missions and (hopefully) catch fish together.
