Wilmotʼs Warehouse is a brain game about working together to find ways to remember where you placed the products in your warehouse. Play involves placing the Product cards face down on your warehouse grid in such a way that you can find them for customers. It stands out for getting you to invent stories, rules, logic and all manner of other creative memory tricks, to remember which cards you put where.
Each round you get a set of Product cards you need to store in your warehouse. The cards are very stylised so you first need to decide what they depict. Then, together, you can place them in ways that help you remember where they all are at the end of the game. Maybe you will use colours, or groupings or tell stories.
However you do it, once the grid is full and all the products are placed the customers start arriving for specific products. You have five minutes to place 35 Customer tiles on the Product tiles that (you think/hope/argue) are the matching icons. You then consult your performance review to see how you did. Things develop further with twists on the rules and additional requirements from your manager.
The result is a super simple concept that invites all manner of creative ways to work together to succeed. It's down to you how to do this, which means you can come up with different approaches based on the skills and ages of the players.
