Play Overview
On Tour (2019) is a sequencing game where you are planning a tour of America for your band. Each round you roll dice and then write that number into locations on your map to decide the order of dates for your trip. Everyone plots their own journey using the shared dice rolls and Region cards, but who can plan the highest-scoring most efficient tour for the band?
The dice are used to form two two-digit numbers (41 and 14 for example) that everyone writes on two different states on their map. Ideally, you want to visit each State in turn, but because you can only add numbers to the region on the Region card and you don't know what numbers are coming next you are soon forced to either push your luck for dice that fit your plans (or play it safe and risk leaving some States out).
There are a few extra twists. If you place your number on the exact State specified on the Region card you can circle it for double points at the end. If you roll doubles you can draw a star that is wild and can go at any point on your journey.
At the end of the game, each player draws a route on their map, starting with a low number and visiting adjacent states with higher and higher numbers. You get a point for every state you visit and two points for any that are circled.
