Spyfall is a communication party game where you try and tell who is a spy by giving subtle clues to the innocent player's location. All of you know what the location is apart from the spy. It's clever because you have to share enough information to test other players, without oversharing and giving away the location to the spy player.

Play involves dealing out a series of cards to each play. Each round they display one of the game's locations: a casino, a travelling circus, a pirate ship, a space station and so on. However, the spy's card says "Spy" instead of the location.

You then set about asking each other questions to try and wheedle out who knows the location and who doesn't. The spy doesn't know where they are so has to listen carefully and try and contribute without giving themselves away. You each answer questions in the mode of the role on your card, and then get to choose another player to ask a question of.

Anyone can accuse another player of being a spy. If everyone agrees the accused player reveals their identity. If they are the spy everyone else scores points. If they are wrong the Spy scores points. The spy can guess the location at any point as well. If they guess correctly then only the spy scores points.

The result is a knife-edge game of guessing, suspicion and bluffing. The game ends after a few rounds and whoever has scored the most points is victorious.
