Play Overview
Top Ten is a communication game where you have to match other player's answers to silly questions on a scale of 1-10 scale. You play by reading a question, then giving answers you hope the guesser can put in the right order to match your number. It is a creative answering game where players must quickly learn to align their ideas with others to avoid turning everything into poop!
You start by choosing a Chief who secretly gives everyone a card numbered from 1-10 and reads out a Theme card question. Each player comes up with an answer that they think matches the sequential number on their card.
For example, the theme might be "Batman wants to replace Robin to fight the bad guys. Create a new duo 'Batman and ...' from the worst to the best." So, if you have a 1 then you must come up with the worst possible sidekick for Batman and a 10 would be the best.
The Chief then tries to guess the correct order for the answers and every incorrect guess turns one of the team's unicorns into poop. The challenge is to survive five rounds without all your unicorns being lost.
The result is an unusual and funny party game. It stands out for being cooperative in a way where you have to get to know the other players and how they might rank the different answers. What starts as a funny question game quickly becomes a social deduction challenge where you struggle to align your thinking with the rest of your team.
