Play OverviewPlay Overview

Fire In The Hole (2022) is a dexterity card game where you compete to throw cannonballs at a pop-up pirate ship to scavenge treasure and win the day. The aim is to land your coloured cannonballs to form a square of four in the holes of the boat, but other players are both competing to do the same and can sabotage your attempts. It's rowdy enough for a fun family game night but has enough twists for more competitive evenings.

You play one of the cards in your hand to determine if it's just you throwing cannonballs or if other players are throwing too. The style of throwing changes too. You may have to throw two cannonballs at one, have an eye patch on or even throw with your eyes closed. Or maybe you'll play a there she blows card and spin the boat (spin-the-bottle-style) to see who goes again.

The result is a simple game about throwing that has enough tactics for older players while keeping things fun (funny) and approachable for youngsters.
