BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team (2023) is a shooting game where teams of anthropomorphic animals battle with the aid of their mech suits and weapons. Play involves joining a team of three heroes to go head-to-head with another team. It stands out for the Titanfall-esque combination of on-foot or in-mech powers, wrapped up in a friendly saccharine aesthetic.
You start by selecting your hero each of who have different abilities. Clyde the crafty cat, Nyx the sharpshooting owl, Rusty the fierce warthog, and GG Nova the eccentric unicorn. The battles are online, with different modes and achievements to go after. Along with the light-hearted shooting you can switch between your agile animal character and their mech-suit.
The result is a fun arena battle with strong characters and all manner of missions to work through.
