Play OverviewPlay Overview

Baladins is a narrative role-play game where you play a troupe of entertainers wandering through the countryside. You visit towns, talk to the locals and complete quests over your a short span of weeks, then start again and have a new adventure. It stands out for how different characters allow you to play in different ways and how each time you play, you uncover new twists and paths to take.

In the fantasy realm of Gatherac, you play a troupe of four entertainer Baladins. Your mission is to bring happiness and joy as you travel the land getting to know the townfolks in preparation for putting on a big festival. You help them with their needs, such as delivering supplies and repairing broken equipment, and gradually forge your own story.

You choose one of the four Baladins, each with a unique set of values and characteristics that define them. You move about the world by selecting different places to go, who to talk to and what to say. Some of these choices are only possible with certain Baladin characteristics, so choosing what you want to do based on your character is essential. Your choices determine how each short story unfolds.

The result is a game not only about how your choices combine with the luck of the dice to influence the story. It's fun because of the surprising twists and turns this makes and the many stories you experience. Playing over and over with different characters and choices to uncover all the details of the world makes for an engaging and entertaining experience.
