Play Overview
Bring You Home (2018) is a running and jumping game with a difference. You play as doddery Polo trying to get your pet back by completing various platform levels. Unusually, though, when you die the game rewinds so you can change the level by swiping the panels of platforms it's made of, and escape death.
There are 40 or so levels, each of which gets steadily more complex - both in terms of rewinding time, but also the consequences of altering different panels. Later on, you can swipe panels left and right to change the flow of time as well as up and down to change their content. Each time you fail, Polo dies in all manner of humorous dumb-ways-to-die fashion.
What starts as a bit of trial and error soon teaches you to think carefully about changing both the flow of platforms and the sequences of events in time. The game keeps things fresh by changing up the mechanics and scenarios at each level.
Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Bring You Home 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Thom Robertson and updated 9 weeks ago.
