Play Overview
Buildings Have Feelings Too (2021) is set in a city where buildings can walk and talk. Not only that, but each has aspirations, hopes and fears. Your job is to create a city that works for all the buildings, a task that will see your city planning pulled in different directions.
It's essentially a city management game like Sim City, here though it's the feelings of the buildings rather than the people who matter. You work to grow the city whilst keeping an eye on each individual building. They need to be happy houses to thrive or you risk them being demolished forever.
As you progress you can create new industries and add different architectural features. But at the same time, world events can cause buildings to fail and businesses to go bankrupt. The key is discovering what each building needs and balancing how you deliver this while not making other buildings (with conflicting concerns) unhappy. This could involve refurbishing a building or simply grabbing it by the hand and moving it to a nicer part of the neighbourhood.
The city can expand past the initial areas to multiple neighbourhoods that include special areas like finance hubs, theatres or shops. Add to this complexity the management of electricity supply, noise pollution and transport and this is a game of considerable challenge.
