You play as the mercenary V, who is looking for an implant that can lead to immortality. On your hunt for the implant, you'll explore the massive and dynamic Night City taking on different jobs, meeting people, and taking time for yourself. As you play and make choices the story will develop around you, from beginning to end each choice you make changes the story so that you follow a path of your own choosing.
Cyberpunk 2077 can be compared to large-budget games such as Grand Theft Auto V. The massive world provides players with the ability to play as they please but also provides a narrative for players to follow along with.
Our examiner, Jonah Monaghan, first checked Cyberpunk 2077 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 weeks ago.
14+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. You need to traverse a large open world and deal with multiple systems and characters. There's also a lot of different things you can do that might overwhelm less experienced players.
Our Game Pathways reveal how 47-year-olds play this game:
