Play OverviewPlay Overview

Daylife in Japan (2019) is a jigsaw puzzle game. You choose the difficulty and the animated puzzle picture which is then divided in jigsaw pieces scattered around the play area. As with a real puzzle, you then need to piece it back together the picture.

The game has several aids to help with solving the puzzles. You can view the puzzle from three distances, drag pieces around using touch screen (on Switch) or buttons. When pieces are dropped in correctly (or near pieces they belongs to), they will snap into place. You can connect pieces off the main board and then drag them into place. To help you progress, you can highlight the corner and side-pieces as well as view the final picture.

It's a relaxing way to spend time together in a family. The difficulty level ranges from around two dozens op pieces to over a thousand so can suit all abilities.

Our examiner, Chris Boers, first checked Daylife in Japan 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 24 months ago.
