Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive is a point-and-click adventure set after a cataclysmic event that left the Earth struggling with the environmental fallout. You play through just 4 days and must discover how to fortify your home against each night's new danger. It's a game where your choices rather than reflexes or brute strength will keep you alive.

Play unfolds like a simple adventure, where you explore the world, collect items and use them with the environment to progress in different ways. You have clues about what challenges you face each night through prophetic dreams.

Each day has multiple potential variations to encounter, from poisonous fog or spiders to a gang of murderous thugs or a deadly heat wave, and as a result, you'll need to adjust your strategy on different playthroughs.

To achieve the things you need to, there is a cost in time. You have to carefully decide what to do otherwise you will run out of time before you are ready for the night's threats. Some actions take longer than others. Fixing a car may take more time than travelling by foot, but once it's fixed you can get there quicker. You also have to consider the weight of what you are carrying as this also affects your performance.

The result is a classic adventure game with themes of hope, survival and friendship. It's like Indiana Jones, Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island but with modern time and encumbrance systems.
