Play OverviewPlay Overview

Dot Big Bang (2023) is a website where you can play hundreds of community-made multiplayer games and make your own. It's similar to Roblox in that there are always new popular games and trends, but the simplicity of the game creation tools and the web-browser setting means that the option to create as well as play games is open to everyone.

You can play in your browser on PC or Mac, with different games continually growing in popularity, such as obstacle courses, shooting, and even single-player adventures. There are also more unusual experiences such as telling jokes at a comedy club. Popular YouTubers also have collaborations with the platform, with games and items based on their brands.

Game creation relies primarily on placing objects in a world and assigning them different properties via a menu rather than complicated coding, meaning that, while it can take a bit of getting used to, you can generally create a game fairly easily. If, however, you want to take it further, you have the option of changing or even adding new commands via actual code available within the game, making it the perfect place for both newcomers and more experienced game-makers alike to learn new skills and techniques.

The result is a site that's great for both playing popular games with friends and learning the basics (and then slightly more advanced processes) of game creation. With an ever-expanding and evolving set of games and creation tools for newcomers and experienced coders alike, it's a unique platform for both fun and educational creativity.

Content Rating

This game has not yet been rated, but we anticipate it is likely to be rated PEGI 12.

Users Interact: The game enables players to interact and communicate with each other, so may expose players to language usually associated with older rated games.

While most games are suitable for children, as everything is community-made, some things may not be designed for younger players and feature content that is inappropriate.

Skill Level

9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. It's also important to ensure children understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. While many games are suitable for very young children with no need for quick reactions or precise inputs, the game creation side of things is more complex and requires either a basic understanding of code or the willingness to experiment and put in lots of time.

You can only play this on older systems (Web Browser) but can usually find it second hand on eBay.
