Play Overview
Duck Game (2015) is an action shooting game with a fast and frantic multiplayer mode. You go head to head against other players in arena battles where you rush to find a weapon and then figure out how to best use it to dispatch of the other ducks before they shoot you. It's novel because of the simple retro graphics (and the ducks) but also for the knife-edge combat and juggling of all manner of familiar and bizarre weapons.
It's a futuristic alternative 1984, and ducks run wild in a frantic battle for glory. You battle to win over the crowd to gain followers by blasting your feathered friends with Shotguns, Net Guns, Mind Control Rays, Saxophones, Magnet Guns, to name a few.
As you progress through the hundreds of levels you discover new weapons and challenges. But the main attraction is the chaotic battles where you go head to head against other players. You jump from platform to platform to get the advantage and find the best guns. However, each of the 50 firearms works differently so you need to learn how they each work.
The results is a but like Worms turn-based battles but everyone is shooting at the same time. It's frantic and funny and hard to predict who is likely to win. A perfect family party game. There's even a level editor on the Switch and PC version.
