Play OverviewPlay Overview

Everwild is a fantasy adventure where characters work together to tame the wild and survive the night. Working with the indigenous creature of the land and with the power of ritual and combat you need to subdue nature by working with it.

“Our world has a rhythm, we all sense it, but only a few truly feel it”, says the trailer. Playing with other human companions feels like the developer’s previous game Sea of Thieves and the outsized creatures you encounter bring a touch of Shadow Of The Colossus. Rather than how the animals can help or hinder the player’s progress through the game, as mysterious figures known as eternals are charged with nurturing. It’s their task to help the wildlife, big or small, to prosper and survive — even enchanting them back to life if they fall.

Like Disney’s Lion King, Everwild follows the cycle of life. Although here it is from human to animal to spirit and back again. We’ll have more details on the game as we get closer to launch.

Our examiner, Jo Robertson, first checked Everwild 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Andy Robertson and updated 5 weeks ago.
