Fête de Famille (2022) (Family Gathering) is a text adventure about families. About what happens when families get together. It's an acid portrait of a contemporary French family that asks why, how and what are the bonds that tie them together.
Play involves making choices about conversations as you attend your grandfather's 90th birthday. You soon find yourself in the middle of a generational conflict with unpredictable consequences. As you peel back the charming appearance, each member hides dark secrets and unfathomable motives.
As you progress it becomes clear that this may be your grandfather's last birthday and talk turns to his will. It's down to you to investigate this mysterious will and determine who will come out on top.
To do this you can interact with the world and other members of the family. As you do, you not only observe but influence the family reunion for better or worse. A seemingly insignificant choice may very well change the relationship between the family members for good.
