Play Overview
Fuser (2020) is a rhythm game where you are a DJ at a large concert. You can combine four songs from a list of records. Each of the records has four tracks represented by colours and instruments: drums, guitar or vocals. You build up an evolving mix of music by adding and changing elements from each of the records.
The play is similar to the developer's DropMix game (also similar to Rockband, DJ Hero and Guitar Hero) although without the need for the physical peripheral or cards to unlock songs. Still, you will need to purchase music to extend your collection of records in the game.
There is a single-player campaign where you attempt to make mixes in time to the beat to score more points. You also have to respond to requests from the virtual audience. There is also an online multiplayer mode where you collaborate on mixes with other players and a Freestyle mode that will allow players to create their own mixes and share them with others over social media.
The game will come with around 100 licensed music songs and you can purchase more.
