Loop

Goop Loop (2021) is a traversal game where you control a sticky lump of goo stuck inside a concrete loop. You can use the momentum of your goo and the world's gravity to get the loop to roll through the level. In this way you face all sorts of physics challenges. What often seem like insurmountable obstacles become solvable as you gain skill and understanding of your momentum.

Play involves only being able to move, jump and stick to the loop. As you progress you realise that aiming your jump is essential to get the momentum you need. You can also control your goop in the air to some extent.

It's a game where you can lose progress easily and likely get frustrated. But that's kind of the point. All the while there's a disembodied voice of the developer highlighting your pain with dad-jokes and jibes. Some may find this simply too annoying, but go with it and you find a nail biting knife edge challenge.
