Growbot (2021) is a point-and-click adventure inspired by the art of games like Machinarium. In Growbot you explore beautifully drafted locations to find objects and solve puzzles. It stands out not only for how it looks but the ingenious way it all fits together.
Growbot is set in a fantastical yet lived-in "bio-punk" space station where you play as Nara, a robot in training to become a captain. When your space station home is attacked by rapidly growing crystals, it's down to you to save it.
It's a low-pressure game that looks like a retro children's television show such as Bagpuss. You explore your space station and need to repair its machinery, collect the sounds of flowers, solve puzzles and meet a wide variety of plants and aliens.
