Gunman Tales is a retro light-gun shooting game where 4 players target enemies to hit them before they get shot. You control your moving and aiming with a single stick, so the fun is about working within these limits to survive each level. It stands out not only for the retro feel but the simple shooting that grows into a surprisingly deep mechanical challenge.

You're a bounty hunter on a mission to find the Legendary Lost Treasure. Play involves searching to find the four pieces of the map for access to the Golden Valley. You do this by moving from cover to cover while aiming and shooting your gun. As you progress you take on mini-games to catch enemies, win money in games of cards, survive the wolves and upgrade your weapons. Do well and you can steal gold and useful items from the enemies to enhance your abilities.

The result is a game some will find too simple, but for newcomers and younger players, this is a great way to try shooting challenges with a cowboy theme.
