Half Past Fate (2020) is a romantic comedy adventure. You explore the lives of six different modern day characters and their romantic relationships over eight hours, eight days, and finally eight years later. It's a point-and-click adventure where you explore the world and solve puzzles using the things you find. Here though, there's also a lot of dialogue and entwining stories that play out like a movie.

Each chapter involves a single character meeting with friends, going on dates and living their lives. You spend your time moving around and engaging in pre-set conversations. It's in the puzzles rather than the character interactions that require your involvement. These involve collecting items or completing actions in a certain order.

The result is an acquired taste, as this is something you experience rather than heavily influenced. With simple cartoon graphics, cute characters and a wholesome vibe, it's a game about these young people and how their individual stories come together, like the movie Love Actually.
