Play Overview
Invisible Inc (2015) is a tactical adventure where you direct espionage agents in covert missions to acquire resources and support to relocate your agency's computer system to a safe haven within a limited amount of time.
Similar in style to XCom, but more emphasis on stealth rather than shooting. In each play-through, which you will repeat as you improve, you select two agents for the mission and can free others to join you during play. If any agent dies, you don't get them back for the remainder of the session, unless they are revived using a medkit or dragged to the exit by another agent. If all agents die, the game is over.
You take turns choosing the actions for each of your agents, spending a limited number of action points. This creates a low-pressure experience but one that sits on a knife edge as you muster your skills and resources to survive.
The result is a game that lets you tackle its missions in surprisingly creative ways. Each of your abilities is required to solve the puzzle-box-style challenges. Juggle hacking, exploration and improvisation but most of all how far you are willing to push things as the clock ticks down.
