Play OverviewPlay Overview

Killer Instinct (2013) is a fighting game series. The third installation released for free with the Xbox One launch. This built on Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2 and added more characters as time progressed.

Killer Instinct play is classic combo-based attacks where players need to memorise combinations and series of button presses to trigger attacks. This starts quite simply but soon expands into a highly skilled chess-like series of Openers, Auto-Doubles, Linkers, Enders and Manuals. Each of which require specific skills and knowledge of the game.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Killer Instinct 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 weeks ago.
