Play OverviewPlay Overview

Letter Quest Remastered is an adventure game where you use words to defeat monsters, ghosts, and evil bunnies. You play by spelling words to trigger attacks and cast spells. It's a novel combination of Scrabble and a classic adventure game.

As you explore the world you take on quests and find enemies to battle. These battles focus on using letters to create words. The longer the words you create, and the more unusual letters you use, the better your attack. Enemies attack back and cause problems in your stock of letters by cracking or poisoning tiles making it harder to score points and attacks the next round.

As you progress you earn gems to purchase upgrades, books, special items and potions. Along with the adventure quests, there is an endless mode to see how long you can survive. The game knows almost 200,000 words to use and has a constantly updated dictionary.

It's a game that's been remade from the ground up from an older version. You can tell that care and attention has been heaped on the resulting experience. It's turn-based so you can take your time with each word. You can also use a keyboard to play the game, if your system supports it, it makes things flow much better. The result is a game about using your linguistic skills to survive that leverages both turn-based adventure play and the satisfaction of coming up with high-scoring words.
