Play OverviewPlay Overview

Long Gone is a classic point-and-stick style adventure game but with updated pixelated visuals. You are stranded in an old-world suburban neighbourhood and must find and combine items to solve puzzles and survive.

Play involves exploring each of the locations to find items you might need. As you solve puzzles and escape the zombies you explore the lives of the people now gone, through their forgotten belongings. Each neighbourhood is frozen in time and filled with hundreds of interactive objects that paint a detailed story of the people that once lived there.

It plays like a point-and-click adventure but you use a controller to play. These modern controls, and the blending of a retro-look with a 3D world give Long Gone a unique feel. Running through it is a sense of character and light-heartedness but this is set against a stark and lost world.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Long Gone 22 months ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 19 months ago.
