Video Game Mr Traffic Review
Mr Traffic (2022) is a sequencing game where you tap cars to get them across a busy junction safely. What starts a simple ordering challenge soon gets complicated with cars of different speeds and not everyone stopping or going straight on. It's novel because of the simple frantic gameplay that stretches your faculties.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Mr Traffic 17 months ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 9 months ago.

Mr Traffic is a sequencing game where you tap cars to get them across a busy junction safely. What starts a simple ordering challenge soon gets complicated with cars of different speeds and not everyone stopping or going straight on. It's novel because of the simple frantic gameplay that stretches your faculties.

Play evolves differently each go but the challenge remains the same. Stay ahead of the onslaught of traffic by tapping vehicles to go. If you are too slow they may get impatient and not wait any longer. You also have to be ready for vehicles that won't stop and other hazards.

As you progress you unlock outfits for your traffic cop and take on harder challenges. Get into the flow and you end up (almost) making music with the different sounds of the cars, trucks and other traffic.
