Play Overview
Pipe Push Paradise (2018) is a puzzle game about connecting pipes. Your uncle has mysteriously fallen asleep while in the middle of providing water to a tropical island, and you have been sent to finish the job. It's a unique twist on Pipe Mania that combines block sliding and pipe connecting puzzles with a relaxing art style and soothing Bossa nova guitar.
The island is laid out with various rooms that reveal the puzzle as you walk in. The puzzles are named with sneaky clues as to what the puzzle entails, or a pun on the layout. You work through each of these with the overall aim of reconnecting the pipework system on the island and restoring the water-flow.
The puzzles are not timed, so you can complete at your own pace. The pipe pieces move on a grid, and you can only push them to try to connect them to the gushing ends. Some pipes will need to be rotated, some should be pushed together, and you must always ensure you can leave the room by the exit. Puzzles steadily get harder and more devious.
For those used to puzzle games, this is familiar territory, combining two popular genres of grid puzzles together. The play is embellished with characters scattered around that you can interact with, but the focus never strays from the ingenious and devious puzzles you need to solve.
