Eventually, you face off against the gang's old leader, Dutch, now a cold-blooded killer spearheading a group of Native Americans as they fight against modernisation threatening their way of life.
Play involves traversing the vast world of deserts and forests by foot and on horseback. As you travel from town to town you use different guns to hunt game and shoot brigands, bandits, and anyone who gets in your way. Depending on how you treat the characters you meet, you can maintain or destroy your honour and reputation. Undead Nightmare, an extra game mode, lets you face off against hordes of zombies.
The result is a game that offers countless ways to approach its many challenges and environments, resulting in a degree of freedom that makes for an exciting and engaging Western adventure.
