Play OverviewPlay Overview

Rogue Lords (2021) is a role-playing adventure where you are able to change the rules to your advantage. You play the devil who, run after run, manages a team of famous evil geniuses to take on a series of roleplaying events and turn-based combat.

Play involves making choices about how to interact with the people and creatures of the land that you encounter in roleplaying scenes, and which attacks to perform during combat. You also have a wide variety of powers at your disposal that allow you to “cheat” and change the game to suit you. These powers include manipulating the health bars of your disciples and enemies, swapping status effects, recharging used powers, increasing the likelihood a skill check will succeed, opening a portal on the map, and even changing the type of encounter you are about to face.

As you progress you unlock new skills, create powerful synergies, and use your powers to turn the situation in your favour at critical moments. Only by collecting ancient artefacts can you finally take your revenge on the Demon Hunters.

It's an unusual game with intriguing characters. Your team can include three disciples from Dracula, the Headless Horsemen, Bloody Mary, the White Lady, Lilith, Hecate, Baron Samedi, and Frankenstein and his Creature. Each has their own story, abilities and gameplay.

Content Rating

Rated PEGI 12 for Moderate Violence. Each character is equipped with a signature weapon, such as a firearm, a bladed weapon or a paranormal power that allows attacks from a distance. The violence is not realistic looking. Attacks result in characters stepping backwards, with damage indicated by numbers and a reduction in health. Once the health has been depleted the character falls to the ground and disappears. There is occasional sight of blood.

The developer describes their game as, "containing minimal blood, mild violence, crude humour, mature and suggestive themes, and infrequent use of strong language."
