Play Overview
Lost souls haunt the mysterious Lost Caribbean islands that have fallen under the control of the Inquisition. You set out to resist and push back their jurisdiction that despises all that is supernatural (and in particular cursed pirates like you). This takes you on a journey with cursed pirate Afia to seek the legendary Black Pearls to revive a cursed crew of your own.
You play by clicking to direct the character's actions. Care is needed to ensure they use their abilities in combination and to your advantage. As you go you sneak behind enemy lines, combine the magical skills of your crew to take out a variety of enemies.
As you progress you learn the unique abilities of each of your eight shipmates and deal with their evolving relationships and personalities. Once you have selected who is suited to the next mission, you are free to plot your own path to enter and exit each island - whether that's stealthy or more aggressive.
As with the previous game, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, you can use the powerful time-manipulating magic of your ghost ship to pause time to plan your strategy. In this way, you can queue up multiple simultaneous character actions that work together in harmony to get the job done.
